Celebrate Embroidery!
Get ready for a fun filled day of stitching! You'll spend the day stitching up four fall themed projects from Parker on the Porch: Pumpkin Zippered Bag, "Get Your Fat Pants Ready Mug Rug", Mug Rug Tray, and a Pumpkin Spice Latte Snaptab.
No machine? No embroidery experience? No problem! These are great beginner projects and Embroidery machines are provided, so it's a great way to see what machine embroidery is all about! Plus all project supplies and lunch are included, so you can simply show up and enjoy creating.
As you stitch, you'll learn practical tips that will improve every embroidery project you make, including:
- What Color Keeper is and how it helps your designs
- How to choose between cutaway and tearaway stabilizers
- Different temporary adhesives to use in machine embroidery
You'll also experience stitching on a wide variety of materials, including cork, felt, canvas, fabric, and more. You'll leave with beautiful finished projects, embroidery designs you can stitch over and over, new skills, and the confidence to take your embroidery to the next level!
The cost is $125 per day and includes use of an embroidery machine, all supplies, and lunch. The event is 10 am -5 pm each day at the Country Inn & Suites.
Celebrate Embroidery: Happy Fall Y'all is part of a three part series. You can attend just this event or join us for all three days and save $50 on your registration ($325 for total).
