Learn to Needle Felt
Needle felting is the art of poking fluffy sheep's wool with a special type of barbed needle. Wool fibers contain microscopic scales and the repeated stabbing action of the needle causes these to tangle and lock together. As you poke and jab, the wool becomes firmer and can be sculpted into nearly any shape. In flat projects, colored wool is stabbed into a backing, creating layers of texture and color. This has come to be known as painting with wool.
In this class you can select either a 2D or 3D kit and Jennifer will help you get started with the fun craft of needle felting.
There are no additional supplies needed for class besides the kit.
