Phantasmagoria Quilt Dakota 2026 Mystery Quilt

Quilt Dakota is back with a new mystery quilt! This mystery is suitable for a confident beginner looking to try new techniques in a supportive, educational environment. It is a step up from our previous year’s difficulty level; it is challenging, but there are no curves, templates, paper piecing, or applique - good ol’ traditional piecing in a creative, original design by Mariah Knight of Knight on the Prairie!

The kit includes all the fabric for the top and binding. The finished quilt is 74" x 86".

Clues for the mystery will be distributed via email. The welcome email will be sent September 9th. The 1st clue will be emailed September 23rd.

There will also be an optional 2026 Quilt Dakota Mystery Facebook Group (invite in the September 9th email). This Facebook group will have giveaways and support videos. You don’t have to be on Facebook to get the pattern and the support videos, but you do have to be on the Facebook to enter to win prizes.

This quilt can be made with basic quilting supplies, but we will demo ruler and notion options that we used putting it together.
